A short account of what this server records, and what it is for.

What we record
Requests that reach the server are logged with:
- The query the model sent to the tool — what it composed in order to search, not your conversation and not what you typed.
- Technical details of the request: which tool was called, when, how it performed, and the client and network it arrived from.
This is what runs the service and keeps its usage limits fair, and it is how we learn what people search for and do not find — a search that returns nothing is what tells us the server is missing something.
Your account
If you register, we store your name, your email, and a hash of your password. The email is used for verification and password recovery only.
Creating an account also records technical details of the request that created it — not to work out who you are, but to stop one person opening many accounts to get around the usage limits, since here an account is your share of the server. Those are kept only while they are useful for that.
What we do not do
- We do not sell any of this, and share none of it with an advertiser.
- We set no advertising or tracking cookie in your browser.
- And we do not use your searches to train a model.
How long it is kept
We keep what we log for as long as it is useful for running and improving the service, and not beyond that. Records tied to a particular incident — errors, refused requests, and registration attempts — are deleted on a schedule.
Who else touches it
We rely on third-party service providers to host the database, send mail, and carry traffic. None of them has any purpose with your data beyond storing and carrying it on our behalf.
