Privacy
This page describes what the server actually does, not what would be pleasant to say about it.

What we record
Every request that reaches the server is logged with:
- The query the model sent to the tool — what it composed in order to search, not your conversation and not what you typed.
- Which tool, when, how long it took, how many results, and whether it succeeded.
- The network address the request arrived from — which belongs to the AI provider's servers, not to your device, since your device never connects to us — and the country code derived from it.
- Which client connected (Claude, ChatGPT, or another) and the protocol version.
This exists for one reason: to learn what people search for and do not find. A search that returns nothing is what tells us the server is missing something.
Your account
If you register, we store your name, your email, and a hash of your password. The email is used for verification and password recovery only.
What we do not do
- We do not sell any of this, and share none of it with an advertiser.
- We set no cookie in your browser beyond the session and your language.
- We do not build a profile of your interests or your school from your searches.
- And we do not use your searches to train a model.
How long it is kept
The request log is kept for as long as the service runs, because its value grows with time. Error records are deleted after thirty days, and rate-limit records after ninety.
Who else touches it
We rely on third-party service providers to host the database, send mail, and carry traffic. None of them has any purpose with your data beyond storing and carrying it on our behalf.
